We are creating a Linux small business server for resale. We are using Ansible to install Samba, it's users via samba-tool create which includes creating home directories for those users.
This works fine during the initial server setup from the Linux environment.
However, if we use Windows RSAT tools to create a user via Active Directory Users and Groups, the user is created but their home directory is not created on that Linux server.
So that is the problem and the solution needed. I need to be taught what configurations need to be made on the Linux Server to insure when a user is created their home directory is automatically created.
This document describes the process. However I wish to have someone expert in this area to instruct me via a screen sharing session on Zoom.
