SMTP configuration for plesk linux vm

My project involves configuring SMTP settings on a Plesk Linux Virtual Machine. Specifically, I need assistance with the authentication settings of the SMTP connection. I have not yet registered any domain for the email account, nor has it been pointed to the server, so those steps will not be necessary. I am looking for an experienced freelancer able to configure these settings quickly and efficiently.
