SCP transfer from remote server to another remote server
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m going to switch from my current Centos server to a new Ubuntu server. In this process I need 2 issues resolved.
Issue 1:
I need to transfer files and folder (approx. 40 GB) from a directory on the old Centos server, to another directory on the new Ubuntu server. I need you to
1. Setup “fingerprints/ID” to prepare both servers AND test the scp connection to make sure it works
2. Provide me with the “scp command” to run, when the transfer needs to be executed, I guess something like: scp user@remote1:/var/www/* user@remote2:/var/www
It’s important that the transfer is between remot1 and remote2, without the use of localmachine!!
Issue 2 (on new Ubuntu server):
I have a “backupscript.sh” that should create MySQL dumps of all databases and place them in a specific folder and delete them after 20 days. The file runs daily via crontab, however dumps aren’t created. I need you to fix this issue
Both servers are IP locked to my IP adress - so you need to do this job via Chrome remote desktop.
