Fix Server issues / Prestashop 1.7 Issues (VPS - CentOS - DirectAdmin)
Job Description:
We're looking for an experienced Prestashop + server admin freelancer to fix issues on a VPS server running CentOS with DirectAdmin and Custom HTTPD Configurations + incorrect file permissions.
Issue 1: Server Permissions & Backend Access (Supervisual & Rentalworks)
After a DirectAdmin update, file/folder permissions seem broken.
Possibly caused by Custom HTTPD Configurations or incorrect file permissions.
URL https://supervisual.be/facturatie/public/index.php gives a 500 error.
On rentalworks.be, logging into the Prestashop backend is extremely slow (takes minutes). Some errors still show up and the admin is unstable.
Prestashop version is 1.7.
Requirements:
You must have solid experience with:
- DirectAdmin
- File/Folder permissions & server config
- CentOS / VPS management
- Prestashop 1.7 debugging
Issue 2: Recaptcha & Form Behavior on Rentalworks
The form on
https://rentalworks.be/extra-huur-opties?...
does not have Recaptcha protection.
When a user adds a product to the cart and then logs in, they’re redirected to:
https://rentalworks.be/extra-huur-opties?login=1
which returns a 404 error:
{"error":true,"message":"404 not found!"}
Most likely a Recaptcha or routing issue within the rental module or login flow.
Steps to reproduce:
- Go to https://rentalworks.be
- Select a product and add to cart
-Try to log in afterwards
-You’ll get this response: {"error":true,"message":"404 not found!"}

No beginners. You must understand:
-Prestashop core + module debugging
-Fixing DirectAdmin permission/config issues
-Resolving slow backoffice performance
-Implementing proper Recaptcha validation
Expectation: Clean working frontend/backend (no 500/404), fast backend login, Recaptcha correctly in place, no more errors.
