Resolve Kali Linux Boot Error Post-Steam-usage

I'm currently experiencing a persistent boot error message with my Kali Linux OS. The error message displays as: "Oh no! Something has gone wrong. A problem has occurred and the system can't recover. Please contact a system administrator."
The issue arose immediately after running the Steam software. Since then, every boot attempt results in the same error message.
