RUBY2 POS - Program to catch COM port ticket and convert in XML
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
The project consists on developing an aplication based on linux to catch the information of the ticket sent by the RUBY2-POS through COM port, and convert it on a XML.
Architecture will be like this:
RUBY-POS will transmit through COM2 port the data. It will be a Serial to USB converter. Usb PORT will be inserted on a Linux PC. The software must run on the Linux PC. Once the data is retreived, an XML file has to be created and left on an Folder, or sent to a local API.
This is a project for a Gas Station POS development. PRIOR EXPERIENCE in RUBY2 is mandatory.
This project involves doing a prior research and sniff of what the port is delivering and doing reverse engineering of the data.
