C Programmer for Linux & OpenWRT System Utility Software

We need an experienced developer with advanced problem-solving skills to take on an OpenWRT project that embeds encryption and other IP packet data management within the eBPF/XDP Linux kernel space.
This is a short-term project to enhance and extend an existing cloud communications code base.

Key Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in the C programming language, OpenWRT, WireGuard, eBPF, XDP and IP packet protocols.
- Proven commercial experience working in the Linux kernel at both AWS and OpenWRT routers.
- Working knowledge of symmetric and public key encryption, key management and certificates a plus.
- Proven experience in API development for SQL and applications interfaces.
- Experience in system software development through a stable and deployable SaaS solution.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to produce comprehensive documentation at the technical level.

Your role will be to work with our team to extend an existing code base and finalize a Linux utility program that can efficiently handle encrypted cloud communications. Your understanding of system software and utility programs will be crucial in ensuring the software is both effective and efficient. A successful project may lead to a longer term engagement and deeper involvement in the scoping and development of future modules.
