Plesk admin control panel on existing VPS ?

I bought a Plesk admin panel and I want to run it on my existing VPS which I use currently for my application. But as I heard if I want to use the Plesk admin control then i need to reinstall the whole VPS server ! which I cant do! I hope you can help me to use Plesk without needing to reinstall the VPS server. Can you?
