Plesk 18 Ubuntu 22.04 Server Fix

Job ID: 38372572

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I'm encountering recurring 403 errors with my Plesk 18 server hosted on Ubuntu 22.04. Despite my efforts with chmod 777 and running plesk vhosts, the problem keeps resurfacing.

Key Points:
- The 403 error occurs every few hours, making the server inaccessible.
- Despite thorough checks of cronjobs, no triggers for this error have been found.
- When I set chmod 777 and run plesk vhosts, the server is temporarily unlocked.
- I have not made recent server configuration changes or installed new software.
- I have also got a strange error that when the developer is saving files to the server the file then change for some reason

I had a lot of malware attachs so I implemented an app firewall. It has worked well for soon 2 month, but over the past 1-2 weeks something has happened.
I must do this chmod 777 * and chown on all files and then it works for a few hours. I cannot find the reason to this but it seems like a cronjob thatr runs baserk.

I need an experienced Plesk and Ubuntu professional to troubleshoot this issue and provide a long-term solution. Please share your past work experiences in Plesk servers, and any relevant experience in resolving recurring server errors.
