1. Is this possible.
2. Can i use a SQL Database rather than a config file.
3. Can it be done completely in postfix, or does it require a custom filter to be written in something.
This is to work internally on our network, between our edge spam appliance (Spam Titan) and our in house mail router.
People keep changing their names and i want to redirect the email internally to the right person. I would like to store the information in either a MYSQL or MongoDB
1. Email received to richard at domain.com ---> Does not need any action, just send on to next host
2. Email received to david at domain.com ---> Needs to be sent to richard at domain.com
These i know are very easy as i have done them manually. So it gets harder
3. Email received from bert at example.com ---> send to richard at newdomain.com
4. Email received from * at example.com --> send to next host normally.
Must support wildcard so all emails as normal except xxxx. I think we would need an indicator to order the entries in the table, so they can be processed in the correct order. If there is no entry for the email in the database, it is just delivered on to the next host as normal.
