PHP Update on Webmin/VirtualMin

Job ID: 39282984

Budget: $30 – $250 AUD

My server is a VPS hosted by Contabo.com.
The VPS runs Webmin/Virtualmin with Ubuntu Linux 20.04.6.
There are 6 cores, 16 GB RAM, 100 GB (100% NVMe) storage, 400 Mbit/s throughput.
There are 5 Wordpress sites on the server, with a total traffic of only 300 visitors per day.
The problem is the PHP version.
Currently the installed version is on each of the sites seems to be 7.4.3, or lower.
However, the current PHP version is 8.4.5.
Google AI says: As of April 7, 2025, the highest version of PHP that Ubuntu 24.04 LTS can support is PHP 8.4.
I am concerned that this lagging behind will cause problems before very long.
I want an experienced server technician to
1. update Webmin/Virtualmin to the latest PHP version;
2. configure Webmin/Virtualmin to automatically install the latest PHP version in future.
3. Guarantee that all the sites will keep working.

At the top of your application, write the answer to the following question:
How will you ensure that all the sites stay up while you are working?
This will show you that you are not a robot and have read the job description.

Applications that do not contain this answer will go straight to trash.
