Outgoing Spam from Server
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
We run a website called Pembantu.com. It is originally a property listing website converted into maid listings. It has come to our attention that our server resources are stolen by outgoing mail spamming that we cannot control. My developer is a freelancer who is currently busy with other projects, so he is unable to look after this issue at this time. I need a quick solution.
Your task is to stop outgoing email spam activity on the server, preferably by removing the malicious codes completely from the server. The server is running WHM/cPanel version 76 on Centos 6. I need to keep the current version because the main website doesn't work on newer operating systems. So you need to work under the existing environment. In other words, you cannot upgrade the software to fix the problem.
The former developer had a chance to tweak some settings to limit spamming, but I don't want you to do the same thing only. Settings tweaks may be required, but they are not the main process.
I've installed Outgoing Spam Monitor so it will help show the level of spamming activity.
