Operating Systems Software Engineer

I am looking for a sharp and flexible engineer to build patches and maintain our operating system, Linux kernel an open source Linux packages to support any critical vulnerabilities that may arise.
This person would ideally be:
- Proficient in C and C++
- Be able to understand vulnerability findings
- Be knowledgeable in security best practices
- Able to understand and compile the package, then hand off for deployment within our systems.
- A good and proactive communicator
- Experience with Linux package management in general (autotools, make, deb, rpm)
