OpenWrt/MPTCP on Mikrotik RBM33G for Bonding (Layer 2)
Budget: $149 – $150 USD
I require a Linux / network routing expert to install bond LTE interfaces of Mikrotik router using openmptc router protocol.
We will provide remote access to the RBM33G Mikrotik router and to the VM to bond at the datacenter.
The purpose of that bonding is to have a faster and reliable layer 2 connection between 2 sides. For bonding to work correctly there is a VM available at the datacenter.

In order for the candidate to receive the payment for this task we should be able to get traffic from behind the mikrotik across multiple wans and if one wan drops connections like VoIP or VPN must not drop. This will require using the server for bonding to. Minimal packet loss during this crossover is important (one or two ping drops on good LTE signal). Most importantly is the VPN from client device to internet must stay connected (this is true bonding).
The interfaces should reconnect automatically (for example using dhcp) when plugged in and should not require intervention after reconnecting a WAN interface.
No money will be paid, even in portion, until this is working, however when this is done and we can get the configuration method and reproduce this then we will release payment.
We are not after speed, we are after resilience, so even if it can only bond 20Mbit/s this is fine. We are aware that this can work easily on other routers but want this on the Mikrotik router so if you do have a lot of experience with Mikrotik, openwrt and mptcp do not waste your time.
