OTT Streaming Engineer with Wowza Streaming Server
Budget: ₹37,500 – ₹75,000 INR
I'm seeking an experienced OTT-streaming engineer to design and help deploy a project.
Key Requirements:
- Ingest & transcode 200 multicast TV channels (120 SD @ 3 Mb/s, 80 HD @ 6 Mb/s) using Wowza Streaming Engine with GPU acceleration (NVIDIA T4 or similar).
- Package to multi-bit-rate HLS and serve up to 7,000 concurrent viewers via a central Origin/POP that also acts as a mini-CDN (~7 Gb/s egress).
- Produce a hardware bill-of-materials (on-prem vs AWS/cloud), cost comparison, and 12-week rollout plan.
- Deliver installation scripts, configuration templates, monitoring dashboards (real-time stream status, viewer analytics, error tracking), and hand-over docs.

- Advise on catch-up TV storage (≈2 TB/24 h) and scaling strategy for Year 2+.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience with Wowza Streaming Engine.
- Strong background in OTT streaming architecture.
- Familiarity with GPU acceleration and multi-bit-rate HLS packaging.
- Ability to create detailed rollout plans and monitoring dashboards.
- Knowledge in storage solutions and scaling strategies is a plus.
