Network config for ubuntu

I am looking to configure a network using Ubuntu, and require assistance in setting the correct network configurations. I would like the network to have a static IP address, and I don’t need multiple profiles. The network device I am connecting to is a switch. I am searching for someone who is knowledgeable and can help me set up this network configuration quickly and efficiently.
