Manjaro Linux failed to boot after update
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I am looking for a Linux/Manjaro/ArchLinux expert to help me troubleshoot and fix a boot issue on my Manjaro Linux system. After a recent update, my system failed to boot and I received the error message "device='UUID={SOME_UUID}' not found. Skipping fsck." (details on 4_Error_Message.jpg)
I specified screenshots of all steps that we pass before receiving error message (from 1 to 4)
Also I attached /etc/default/grub, /etc/fstab, /etc/crypttab
Note: But if in Grub menu we modify value of root property from `root='UUID={SOME_UUID}'` to `root=/dev/sda2` (I underlined it on the Edit_Grub_Item_And_Setup_Root_Manually.png) then Manjaro loaded mostly successfully (some error message displayed and disappeared fast in loading log) and then we can login into Linux and use most apps. But in this case it can work partially, e.g I cannot run VirtualBox Machines (show error that some drivers not installed or something like that). Also system updates couldn't be installed because of some errors.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Manjaro Linux and troubleshooting boot issues
- Knowledge of encrypted filesystems and UUIDs
- Ability to diagnose and fix kernel-related errors
Responsibilities:
- Identify the cause of the boot failure and error message
- Provide a solution to fix the issue and ensure successful booting
- Document the steps taken to resolve the problem
If you have the necessary skills and experience, please apply with your proposed solution and timeline for completion.
