Malware Analysis Cloud Sandbox Development
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
Bin Breaker" - Web application that allows security researchers to reverse and analyze malware in a "cloud" sandbox environment.
Technologies we want to implement:
- Docker: To spin up an instance of a QEMU KVM Windows 10/11 virtual machine each time a user wants to analyze malware.
- QEMU KVM: Will be used as the virtualization software, we want to use a hardened version (anti-detect VM) of Windows 10 so that malware can't tell that it is running inside of a sandbox.
EXTREMELY IMPORTANT
*******************************************************************************
- WebRTC: To achieve remote USB passthrough of devices like webcams and microphones to a QEMU Windows KVM instance accessed through the web app.
*******************************************************************************
Notes:
- We will be operating through a subscription based model. Each user should be limited to a set amount of hours of VM access per month.
- Each user should be limited to one instance at any given moment.
- A timer should be displayed on the user's screen so that they may keep track of how much time they have left for the month.
- The user should have the ability to add more time through a "credits" system so that they have the option to continue using the sandbox without being kicked out.
- Every time a user is done with their "session" the virtual machine should be disposed of.
More information will be given once the contract is started!
Skills Required:
VNC/RDP
Linux Servers
