Linux c++ second terminal window example

I have an application that currently is run in a terminal window to output information.
I want an example app that when run from ubuntu graphical environment opens two terminal windows

From one the user can choose from a menu.. also enter information..the other window is used for outputting log information.. you can use simple output..

Just a demo application..
