Linux consultation: help with nvidia driver installation
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a ThinkStation P340 Tiny with Intel core i9-1900T CPU with NVidia Quadro video card, running Elementary OS 6.1 (which is based on Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS).
Every time I try to install NVidia drivers, rebooting the computer causes it to start either directly to tty or to blank screen, the Elementary OS login box never shows up. I can boot up using recovery mode, though, and it works fine, except all graphics related things are painfully slow. For example, trying to use Google Maps on Firefox is impossible, because it runs with 10 FPS.
I need someone to help me to setup the display drivers in a way this Linux installation boots up normally (i.e. without the need to use recovery mode) and with the display drivers installed so I can use basic things like Youtube or Google Maps.
You will not get any remote access to the system. You tell me what commands to run and I will do that.
