This serious freelancer need to check and improve the existing 2 anti ddos / antispaming scripts in etc/fail2ban. The first existing script allows a list of good bots to scan the sites. We observe that some good bots like googlebots + plesk 360 monitoring + downtuimefinder.com + uptime.com also blocked. So this need to be improvment and allow all good bots to scan the sites.
The second existing script for anti ddos ips blocks each ip that makes hits more than 15 times/ hits per minute. We observe that some ips overcome this script and this limit and continue to make hits over the limit 15 hits per minutes.
Also we would like to make geo ip restriction by country.
Need also to check for possible mariadb optimization
The goal is to reduce server's cpu and to protect the sites from ddos attacks + bad bots by setting up correct the current scripts and Mariadb
