Linux, SNMP and networking guru required to provide advice and assistance with LibreNMS deployment
Budget: $25 – $30 AUD
Goal: I have an SNMP server running on a VM with a public IP.
I have a series of networks (various clients) that I would like the device of those networks to report to that SNMP server.
REQUIREMENTS
Clients to connect to SNMP server via VPN
Clients NOT to use VPN as a gateway
Clients are NOT to be able to communicate between them via VPN
CHALLENGE
Clients may use identical IP ranges for their LAN (192.168.0.x)
I am looking for someone with sufficient technical capability to provide guidance on the best way to implement this.
50% of this task is technical guidance with the other half assisting with implementation.
The end goal is to add our client base to our SNMP server so that we can monitor all devices, but to do so in a secure manner so that we're getting the data we need, but it's encrypted (L2TP/IPSEC) and making sure that no client can use the SNMP server as a gateway to access another client's network.
