I'm seeking a proficient embedded Linux specialist for an upcoming project. The key tasks you will need to perform include:
1. Device Configuration and Customization: You will need to handle all aspects of device settings and customization, ensuring optimal performance and usability.
2. Kernel and Driver Development: You will be tasked with the creation and updating of kernels and drivers, aligning with the project requirements.
3. Application Development and Maintenance: Involves creating new applications and ensuring existing ones are properly maintained and optimized.
Embedded Linux thin client required with
Linux kernel
Drivers for display, printer and networking
hardware.
Password protected local terminal configuration utility.
Software
Support and
Compatibility
Supports Client local applications in C, C++ and Java.
VT100, VT220 and VT320 emulation.
Indic language printing support.
Simultaneous execution of
multiple terminal emulation sessions.
Application switching through hot keys.
Automatic application startup.
Remote
Management
Password protected remote administration
utility for centralised management.
Updates and patches to OS and applications can be centrally and remotely

The desired operating system for this project will be an embedded Linux with Kernel 4.x.x or above, so a deep familiarity with this OS is appreciated.
