Jukebox Software Troubleshooting & Ongoing Maintenance
Budget: $2 – $8 AUD
Need someone for ongoing work and to fix a couple of issues on my jukebox software.
It is a hub - master jukebox that has all the songs etc, then a slave which is just a front end that public use to pick the songs.
THIS WHOLE SETUP WORKS BUT JUST NEEDS SOME ISSUES FIXING
This communicates to the hub and plays the song.
There is also a webapp part of the hub, so people scan the qr and can see the song list etc and add.
Everything is working good, apart from a few little issues ,
1. The hub app wont show the screen time out blank screen and always on
2. The hub app freezes randomly. ( i have tried wiping and clean install, and still does the same.
3. the hub touch screen just started to only allow 2 clicks then it stops responding for 5mins.
4. There are 4 buttons on the main screen that link to folders which i pick in config, this is supposed to play the songs from the folder when no other songs are picked on the queue, it seems to only be playing from a different folder each time and not the one i select.
Slave
1. Touch screen its hard to press the 0 on the on screen number pad of the app.
2. when the search box pops up, and typing letters it keeps double pressing letters.
3. When the Search screen pops up, it should have a timeout so if not typing, it close the timer screen
The system on both is Linux mint, The apps are run in Unity, and the webapp node and the db is mongo which is located online.
The whole system except the mongo is all LAN network only.
This will be ongoing work with more mods and addons / tweeks over the coming months.
