Icinga/Zabbix/Prometheus Monitoring Automation
Budget: $500 – $2,000 USD
Are an MSP and are looking to improve our monitoring and metrics environment. We are looking for an experienced freelancer that has done prior work on this already, please do not waste time if you have not implemented a solution like this before.
We are looking at either Icinga / Zabbix and Prometheus for metrics. We mainly maintain RHEL/Debian based systems (nginx/php-fpm/mysql/cpanel/directadmin). The end goal is to be able to run 1 command that will automatically detect services and then generate the appropriate monitoring checks for each system, including configs for tagging any custom checks.
See attached document for rough idea of type of services we currently monitor/maintain. When bidding please confirm or have samples of a previous install/script you've setup. We are a team of very experienced systems engineers and will provide assistance/work together on the full implementation (script writing, RPM/DEB packaging, provisioning, security, etc) but are looking for someone to do the heavy lifting.
Looking forward to your bid and hopefully a good longer-term partnership. Open to paying per project, per hour, per month.
