Htaccss replacement in nginx

So I have a one-page php website, I need url rewrite on that which will use a parameter but load the same page with different text. It's done in htacecss now the problem is with when I transfer it to AWS server, it is using nginx where htaccess will not work . Do you know what to do? Can you help me complete it? Let me know.
