Host machine WAN connectivity issue

Job ID: 37888325

Budget: $10 – $30 AUD

I'm seeking assistance with some specific networking issues in my current setup. After a host reboot, my VM router and LAN devices lose WAN access. It's only after I reboot my ISP's bridged router that everything starts to function again.

Curiously, if I leave the host running and reboot the VM router, LAN and WAN traffic works.

• Devices involved: ISP bridged router, LAN devices and a VM router.

• Configuration: Currently, the VM router and LAN devices are set up with static IP addresses. I have maintained this configuration in order to avoid conflicts.

• Operating System: My VM router operates on pfSense.

Ideal skills for this job would be strong Linux and network troubleshooting expertise, with deep understanding specifically around virtual machines and static IP configuration. I need someone who can diagnose and, hopefully, prevent this issue from recurring, and ensure uninterrupted WAN access for my VM router and LAN devices.

Unsure if related, but after hours of host use, the brower will freeze for 5-120 minutes, then come back to function. Where can I find logs on what is causing this...possibly memory leak from the browser with many tabs open?

Do not offer work over the project budget.
