Grafana SSL/HTTPS

Hi,
I have a grafana dashboard running in the cloud at a.b.c.d:3000 without ssl/https configured.
I also have a domain, mydomain.com and would like that when someone navigates mydomain.com, www.mydomain.com or https://www.mydomain.com redirects to my Grafana dashboard with the following requirements:
-The redirect is masked (meaning that the browser displays www.mydomain.com in the url and not the ip a.b.c.d:3000)
I have done some work with nginx, and issuing the certificates but doesnt work.
