Golang - Rabbitmq - rebuild a small project from scratch

I have a program that crawl data from a amqp tunnel and saves the values to a mysql. The program is already working fine but as i am a new in golang i want to pay for somebody else give me another point of view about the concepts used at the program. I am leveraging this project to learn Go too
