Get Shellcode working on Linux VM

I have a few small programs involving buffer/integer overflows I'd like to exploit. The objective is simple. Exploit them using shellcode and Return Oriented Programming. You must have implemented shellcode numerous times before. I'm skittish about security, so you have to feel comfortable with telling me what to do through video session. You may also have to change flags/security features to get the shellcode working (execstack, stack derandomization, etc.) Our sessions will be via Zoom, unless I find a better platform. You must not only tell me how to do it, but you must understand how it works (and be able to explain it).

You will receive pay for at least one hour; should you solve the first successfully, there may be another 1-2 hours of work depending on how fast we go. I may even have more work for you involving more difficult problems.
