GUI for Linode Ubuntu Server

I bought a linode ubuntu server for a personal project and I'm trying to install a GUI for it. I've installed all the packages and set up the VNC, but it refuses to connect when I try to connect. I don't really feel like continuing troubleshooting so I'm looking for someone to help me. My thoughts is we can use Anydesk and you can just set it up for me
