Full Deployment of MapStore, QGIS Server, and PostgreSQL/PostGIS on Ubuntu
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am looking for an experienced professional to **install and configure from scratch** a complete geospatial server environment on a virtual **Ubuntu Server 24.04** (preferably using **VirtualBox**).
The setup must include the following components:
- **MapStore v2024.02.02** running on **Tomcat 10**.
- **QGIS Server 3.42**, fully configured to provide **WMS/WFS services**.
- A **PostgreSQL/PostGIS-enabled database** (version **16** or **17**) for storing and serving spatial data.
All services must be properly installed and configured to work together within the same virtual machine.
**Project Requirements:**
- **MapStore** must be able to consume **WMS/WFS services** from the configured **QGIS Server**.
- **QGIS Server** should be capable of reading projects, layers, and styles directly from the **PostgreSQL/PostGIS** database.
- Each QGIS project should be stored in its own **database schema** within the **PostgreSQL/PostGIS** instance.
**Completion Criteria:**
The project will be considered complete when the following conditions are met:
1. A working connection to the **PostGIS database** (version 16 or 17) is established.
2. A new project can be successfully published from **QGIS Desktop** into its own schema.
3. The published project is fully accessible and functional within **MapStore**.
