Exim Configuration Fix on CentOS Server

I am experiencing issues with my CentOS server's mail server. The server, using Exim, is not receiving emails, and I am receiving 'Connection timed out' messages when emails fail to be received. This project requires an expert with deep understanding of CentOS and Exim to diagnose and resolve the connectivity issues. Please include your relevant experience in your proposal.
