Embedded Systems Developer Needed for Linux Sensor Data Storage
Budget: £1,500 – £3,000 GBP
I'm seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Developer to help me complete a Debian Linux driver for my ADE7880 sensor. The aim is to store telemetry data to a MariaDB database. The project includes the following key components:
- Data Acquisition: The system must be able to acquire data from the sensor at a frequency of once per second. This requires a solid understanding of I2C and HSDC protocols from beagle bone platform.
- Data Timestamping: It's crucial that the data is timestamped accurately. The system will utilize GPS Clock Time Synchronization for this purpose.
- Additional Resource: I'm looking for a professional who has expertise with Beagle Bone and PRUSS, as these will be essential in finishing off the project successfully.
Ideal skills and experience for this role include:
- Proficient in Linux device driver development
- Significant experience with embedded systems, particularly Beagle Bone and PRUSS
- Strong understanding of I2C and HSDC communication protocols
- Familiarity with Maria DB and database storage
- Experience with sensor data acquisition and time stamping
- Prior work with GPS clock time synchronization
If you have the right mix of skills and experience for this project, please get in touch.
