Email Deliverability Improvement Project
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
We are facing ongoing issues with our email deliverability, as emails from our organization are frequently ending up in spam folders. To resolve this, it is essential that we implement and correctly configure the necessary email authentication protocols immediately.
Please ensure the proper setup of the following:
1. SPF (Sender Policy Framework)
• Configure SPF records to authorize our domain for sending emails, ensuring that only designated mail servers can send on our behalf.
• Misconfigured or missing SPF records increase the likelihood of our emails being flagged as spam.
2. DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail)
• Implement DKIM to ensure that our emails are authenticated and have not been altered in transit.
• Without DKIM, our email reputation suffers, and email providers may reject or mark our emails as suspicious.
3. DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance)
• Define and enforce a DMARC policy to specify how emails failing SPF and DKIM should be handled.
• A properly configured DMARC policy will enhance our domain’s security, reduce phishing risks, and improve overall email deliverability.
This needs to be implemented immediately to ensure that our emails reliably reach their intended recipients. In the attachment, you will find a presentation outlining the importance of these measures.
