DigitalOcean Email Setup Solution -- 2
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I am facing an issue with our current email setup on DigitalOcean. The problem arises because DigitalOcean is blocking outbound SMTP traffic on ports 587, 465, and 25. As a result, we are unable to provide email login functionality to our customers using their own email credentials. This has severely impacted communication, as our customers are unable to send emails to their clients directly from our platform.
Key Points of the Problem:
Blocked Ports: DigitalOcean has blocked ports 587, 465, and 25, which are commonly used for SMTP email transmission.
No Third-Party API: We do not want to rely on third-party mail APIs (such as SendGrid, Mailgun, etc.) because we aim to provide our users the ability to log in with their own email credentials and manage their client communications.
Avoiding VPS Solutions: We are also avoiding other VPS hosting providers, as there is a potential risk of being blocked again if a customer’s emails are flagged as spam. We want to ensure a robust and reliable solution that won't be compromised by external reports or restrictions.
Requirements for the Solution:
Direct Email Login for Customers: We want a solution that allows our customers to log in using their email credentials (email and password) and manage client communication without the need for third-party APIs.
Spam Reporting Risk Mitigation: Any solution should include mechanisms to prevent spam reports from leading to blocking of our service, as we want to avoid the risk of being blacklisted due to user activity.
We are looking for the best alternative to resolve this issue, ensuring uninterrupted email service for our customers while adhering to our infrastructure preferences.
Looking forward to your assistance in finding an optimal solution.
