I am seeking an experienced GO Developer to collaborate on a 64-bit Rasbian-based project involving the Raspberry Pi 4 and 4D Systems Display (Gen4-ULCD-32D) and a sensor and solenoid board. Your task will revolve around sending image files from a server over the Internet and sending them to the screen via serial port /dev/ttyAMA4. The application will also communication via serial port /dev/ttyS0 with the sensor and solenoid board..

Key Responsibilities:

- Transmitting image files to the 4D Systems display via a serial port on the Raspberry Pi 4.
- Crafting a system for bidirectional communication through serial ports.
- Writing text files purposeful for saving transactional data packets.
- Leveraging your threading skills by utilizing GO routines.

Essential Skills:

- Proficiency in GO language is mandatory.
- Familiarity with Raspberry Pi 4, Linux OS and understanding of 4D Systems Display (Gen4-ULCD-32D) would be highly beneficial.
- Previous experience with bidirectional communication via serial ports.
- Capability to write text files.
- Strong competence in implementing automated unit tests and functional tests.

The primary importance of implementing automated unit tests for this project is to enable verification of the system integration. Your developed code should be able to withstand frequent updates and other system integrations. Your familiarity with this form of testing will ensure that the system functionalities are not compromised following an update or integration of other systems.
