I'm in need of guidance to set up a new dedicated server primarily for self-hosting images for our eBay store. This involves installing a domain name, an SSL certificate, and ensuring I have FTP access for file uploads.
Key Requirements:
- Expertise in setting up dedicated servers
- Experience with cPanel and FTP
- Proficient in installing Linux or Windows on servers
- Knowledgeable in SSL certificate installation
- Capable of domain name setup
I am currently undecided between Linux or Windows for the operating system, so any recommendations based on your experience would be appreciated. The server's primary function will be web hosting, specifically for image storage and distribution.
