I have a USB stick formatted with ext4 that is no longer mounting on my Linux system:

Running "sudo mke2fs -n /dev/xxx" returns this: "The file /dev/xxx does not exist and no size was specified."
I need help in extracting files from it.
The files are mixed types - documents, photos, videos, etc.
