Create script do permanently delete all files in directory at a given time

For security reasons, I would like to have a script that will delete all files in a directory after a certain amount of time has lapsed since the directory was created. So if you set the time to 7 days, after 7 days of Directory creation, the whole directory will be deleted permanently. The script must work on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Please refer to attached diagram for clarification.
