Configure postfix/dovecot mail server
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have pa dovecot+postfix mail server running on Debian box. Currently the emails are being sent and received as normal, just there are 2 issues that need to be fixed:
1. When i open web-based mail client (roundcube) the new messages do not get displayed because by default the owner is the user to whom the mailbox belongs so i have to run the "chown vmail:vmail /path/to/cur/*" command and then i can see the new email. This needs to be fixed in the way that all incoming emails should get the proper user:group set (vmail:vmail).
2. I want to use a mail application such as Thunderbird to send/receive emails with IMAP, currently it is not set up.
I would prefer you to work through Teamviewer on my PC with Putty connected to the server.
