Configure KVM & Windows 10 VM

Job ID: 39913463

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I am setting up a fresh Linux Mint box on a new SSD and want the system ready to run a Windows 10 Pro guest under QEMU/KVM. I’m comfortable with the Mint install itself; what I’m missing is a clear, fool-proof path to:

• installing and verifying QEMU, libvirt, and virt-manager on Mint
• creating a fully activated Windows 10 Pro virtual machine (I have the ISO and licence)
• configuring the VM’s virtual hardware for good performance (UEFI, virtio drivers, spice display, etc.)
• setting up NAT networking so the guest has internet access while remaining neatly firewalled from the host

Walk me through the commands or provide a concise script I can run, explain each step so I understand what’s happening, and stay available until the VM boots, activates, and reaches the desktop with working internet. Screenshots or a short markdown guide as a takeaway would be ideal. Remote session via SSH or anyviewer you prefer is fine; I’ll schedule around your availability.
