Centos Server Freezing and Login Issue Fix
Budget: $10 – $70 USD
I'm running a Centos server that has been freezing daily, requiring a hard reboot. The issue primarily occurs when I'm running NoMachine to access Virtualbox and run Windows virtual machines.
Key requirements and tasks:
- Fix the server freeze issue: I need a professional who can diagnose and resolve the root cause of the server freezing.
- Troubleshoot login issue: Currently, I'm unable to login as root after the server freezes. This needs to be addressed.
- Analyze logs: I'm attaching the server logs to this project. I need you to thoroughly analyze them for any clues on the server freeze.
Ideal skills and experience:
- Extensive experience with Centos servers
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving server freeze issues
- Strong understanding of virtualization software, particularly Virtualbox
- Ability to troubleshoot login issues
- Proficient in analyzing server logs to identify problems
Please include examples of similar projects you've completed successfully in your bid. Thank you.

Hello,
I rent a dedicated server running Centos and I installed nomachine on it and virtualbox to run windows virtual machines.
It was working without problem for months but now the centos server freezes and does not let in unless rebooted by hosting provider.
There is no login screen when the server freezes to login as root. It requires hard reboot to come back online.
I attach the traffic stats of the server that show when I resumed using the server and when the traffic stopped (when traffic stops it means the server has frozen) which seems to happen on June 3 around 19h20 (07h20 PM) server time.
I attach the full LOGS to this project so you can review and check why the server freezes and if you can resolve it.
on June 4 a few hours ago the hosting provider ran a few diagnostics and did not find any problem with the hardware.
Thanks
