Build a Linux based TVHeadend server with iGPU accelerated HEVC transcoding -- 3

Job ID: 34681263

Budget: €8 – €30 EUR

Me and family members want to watch our cable TV when not at home, using mobile 4G internet connection.
For this i have a HomerunHD tuner and a 10th gen core i7 Intel NUC with iGPU.

Although this setup works fine with pass profiles, it eats too much data on my 4G connection.
The iGPU should be able to transcode into HEVC greatly reducing the bitrate without loosing too much image quality.
My Linux and TVHeadend knowledge is insufficient to get this working.
Would like to hire an expert for remote installing a TVHeadend setup that will using the HW accelerated iGPU ( QSV ) for HEVC transcoding while maintaining the source resolution and framerate.

At this moment Ubuntu 20.04LTS is installed. But it can be wiped for a new installation with distro of your choice.
