Backup server with bigger disk to a smaller disk

In production I have a server with a disk of 500GB with 29 GB occupied the idea is to recover the image taken with clonezila into another server with a disk of 40GB. The image size is about 29GB.
Is it posible doing this with clonezilla or similar tools?
