Automate WiFi Connection on Raspberry Pi

Job ID: 38416546

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

Info

The raspberry pi will never have been connected to the target SSID before. On first startup for the user(not initial startup since I’ll have added my program), I would like the pi to create an Access Point. Users then connect to the access point via smart phone. Once connected to the Access Point, I would like the user to see fields to enter SSID, Password, Favorite Team, and Time Zone. The user will enter those fields and then hit submit. I want them to see some kind of success message. I want all of that info stored somewhere as well. Then, I assume we need a way to exit the Access Point mode. Then I want the pi to use the wifi credentials to connect to the target wifi.

Once AP mode is terminated, the raspberry pi should use the credentials automatically. Even if restarted, if the credentials are there, then it doesn’t need to run the AP mode again, just use the credentials. Lastly, I would like the ability to attach a small button to reset the information entered and then reenter the AP mode like it’s the first time again.
