(Arch) Linux Support - Pulseaudio / Audio issues

Job ID: 30859649

Budget: $10 – $20 USD

Hi there,

I've recently updated my machine and I have tried for the life of me of trying to get my machine's audio working again. Pulse audio is erroring and my card isn't showing up, however bypassing it and running a speaker test has it working again.

I'm running arch linux with latest kernel (5.12.15) and it's running on a Dell XPS 17 (9700).

For an introduction to the errors - Here is a post I made on the arch forums which has the full extent of the errors (I'd post them here but there are no code blocks so you won't stand a chance) https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=268008
*** NOTE: I'm not posting a link for you to reply above, it's purely for reference. I am willing to pay for this support hence the post. ***

Brief error:
E: [pulseaudio] module-alsa-card.c: Failed to find a working profile.
E: [pulseaudio] module.c: Failed to load module "module-alsa-card" (argument: "device_id="0" name="pci-0000_00_1f.3-platform-sof_sdw" card_name="alsa_card.pci-0000_00_1f.3-platform-sof_sdw" namereg_fail=false tsched=yes fixed_latency_range=no ignore_dB=no deferred_volume=yes use_ucm=yes avoid_resampling=no card_properties="module-udev-detect.discovered=1""): initialization failed.

Thanks,
George
