I'm seeking an expert to assist me with two crucial tasks related to the Pensieve platform. Firstly, to help me deploy Pensieve on an Ubuntu operating system. Secondly, to develop an innovative adaptive bitrate algorithm with a focus on comparison to Pensieve.

The Project Tasks:

- Deployment of Pensieve on Ubuntu: Your first task would be to ensure the successful deployment of Pensieve on an Ubuntu platform.
- Algorithm Development: Following successful deployment, you will be instrumental in the development of an adaptive bitrate algorithm. This algorithm needs to be designed, keeping in mind a comparison with Pensieve.

Platform Implementation:
