Adapt Existing Bark Detector to Project Requirements
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I am currently using a RasPi-4 to maintain a rolling collection of 1-hour recordings (using ffmpeg). Reviewing these recordings currently requires that I collect recordings for a specific day and play back each video at normal speed--to avoid distortion. This is extremely tedious and time consuming, but we have the technology to fix this, and I need help learning to use it.
The goal of this project is to introduce automated analysis/logging using an existing [bark-detector] solution. This is essentially an integration project where the deliverables are:
- My ability to deploy [bark-detector] (I'm familiar with linux, ec2, route53, and glacier--nothing further)
- My ability to improve matching (train) using additional audio samples
- Final log output needs the fields: hour:minute, guessed_source, confidence (interested in logging, not alerting)
- Will be deployed on new RasPi-5
