WordPress Upgrade & SEO Overhaul

My business-portfolio site runs on WordPress and it’s time for a full refresh. I need the core installation brought up to the latest stable release, a clean lightweight theme recommended and installed, and every step carried out with on-page SEO in mind.

Here is the scope in plain terms:

• Update WordPress safely, including all plugins, without any downtime or data loss.
• Suggest two or three modern, mobile-first themes that score well on Core Web Vitals; once I choose one, handle the installation and style it so the site matches our current branding.
• Re-check every page, blog post, and portfolio item to be sure URLs, internal links, and media stay intact.
• Apply best-practice SEO tweaks during the build—schema markup, fast loading, clean code, logical heading structure, and meta data ready for Yoast / Rank Math.
• Final hand-over must include a short walkthrough video or document so my team can manage the new theme with confidence.
